Answer: The adults may not have memories of early childhood experiences because in the early years of human life, the brain and cognitive abilities are still immature and are developing. The cognitive ability of memory is still developing and, hence, the experiences stored in the long term memory tends to fade away as the child grows. Another important thing that plays an important role is language. During the early childhood years language is still developing and hasn't been fully achieved, most of the memories that are stored is in verbal form, hence, the experiences that have happened after language acquisition is better retrieved than those before the language acquisition.
