Describe secondary sexual characteristics in males and females

What will be an ideal response?

The secondary sexual characteristics are the many external characteristics not directly involved in reproduction that distinguish males and females, such as body configuration and hair distribution. In humans, for example, males have broader shoulders, whereas females have curvier hips, and males have beards, whereas females do not. Testosterone in the male and estrogen in the female govern the development and maintenance of these characteristics. Progesterone has no influence on secondary sexual characteristics.
