What is the first step in addressing sexual problems in therapy?

What will be an ideal response?

Sexual problems have a great variety of causes, from purely physiological to psychological ones.
Before they start addressing sexual problems, therapists should consider their origins—whether they
are isolated or indicative of deeper and more complex issues. If the latter is the case, treating only
sexual issues is not likely to succeed, and time will be lost.
