Group communication is communication that occurs among 3 to 15 people who have
interdependent goals. In order to be considered interdependent, group members must be
working toward similar goal, and have the need to work together to accomplish those goals.
The group must also meet and interact over time, and generally has an assigned or assumed
leader that a majority of group members rely on for guidance.
