Describe the process of cardiac catheterization

Cardiac catheterization is a test used in diagnosis of heart disorders. A tiny catheter is inserted into an artery in the arm or leg of the patient and is fed through this artery to the heart. Dye is then pumped through the catheter, enabling the physician to locate by x-ray any blockages in the arteries supplying the heart.
