Why is it important to follow the steps for proper hand tool safety?

What will be an ideal response?

It is important to follow hand tool safety to prevent injury to the technician, loss of money while working, and damage to vehicles. Injury to the technician can occur from worn, broken or dirty tools, and improper use or handling. Loss of money comes from not having your tools neat and organized. Much time can be lost looking for misplaced items such as sockets. Cars can be damaged and technicians injured when tools are left in pockets.
