Explain direct close. When can this be used?
What will be an ideal response?
The direct close describes an explicit manner of closing. The salesperson asks the customer for a decision in a straightforward, candid manner. For example, the salesperson may ask the customer, "Do you feel comfortable moving forward and signing the agreement now?" It is very important for a salesperson to address all the objections prior to attempting a direct close, because the direct close can only be done successfully if the salesperson feels confident that the customer will surely say yes to her offerings.
