What will be an ideal response?

The media, including advertisers, government leaders, political advocates and others, consciously try to influence our perceptions through the media. For example, during election years (and perhaps constantly) "spin doctors" try to influence our perceptions about particular candidates or political
issues. Even other types of media like sitcoms or dramas influence our perception about issues. For
instance, The Office is a comedy that influences our perceptions about workplace issues, Grey's
Anatomy is a drama that influences our perceptions about hospitals, and Friends was a comedy that
influenced our perceptions about relationship issues.
