Briefly describe the four types of buying centers and give an example of each.
What will be an ideal response?
In an autocratic buying center, though there may be multiple participants, one person makes the decision alone, whereas the majority rules in a democratic buying center. Consultative buying centers use one person to make a decision but solicit input from others before doing so. Finally, in a consensus buying center, all members of the team must reach a collective agreement that they can support a particular purchase. Examples will vary.
