Compare and contrast lawyers who practice law in the large corporate law firms and government lawyers.

What will be an ideal response?

The lawyers who practice law in the large law firms are the royalty of the legal profession. These lawyers represent powerful corporate clients, make the most money, and are engaged in what are considered the most prestigious and intellectually challenging areas of the law. Roughly 11% of lawyers are employed by the federal, state, county, or municipal governments. One third, or roughly 30,000, of these government lawyers work for the federal government. Today government jobs provide an avenue for law graduates to obtain valuable skills and knowledge and, after several years, to move into private practice.
