Where is the thermosome found, and what is its apparent role?

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: A thermosome is a complex containing chaperonin proteins that are found within the cells of hyperthermophilic Archaea. The function of thermosomes is to facilitate the proper folding of proteins. Thermosomes can also refold protein that have become denatured at high temperatures, thus cells containing thermosomes can survive temperatures beyond the temperature range in which they grow.
