How would you remove a third member from a banjo housing?

What will be an ideal response?

The axles must be pulled before you can remove a third member from a banjo housing. First, drain the gear oil from the housing. Then remove all of the nuts from the studs around the outside of the third member. There is often a copper washer under each nut that can be hard to see through the layer of grease and dirt. The third member cannot be removed from the housing until all of the washers have been removed. Use a sharp scraper to carefully remove each washer.
