Discuss the expressive arts therapy process.

What will be an ideal response?

When a therapist combines the expressive arts with a psychotherapy method of choice, he or she increases the ways in which a client can seek to express emotions, seek meaning, clarify feelings, and obtain healing. The expressive arts therapy process recognizes that each client’s pathway to recovery is different. While some clients can best express themselves using painting, another client might prefer journaling, or music. In expressive arts therapy, the emphasis is on the process of creating rather than on artistic outcomes.
