Present a policy argument for concealed carry on campus by using the stock issues model to advocate a course of action.

What will be an ideal response?

There are a variety of ways to approach this question. For example: Inherency – Currently
there are federal, state, and local laws deeming most schools gun-free zones. Further, there is
widespread belief that guns should be kept out of schools. Problem – Despite laws banning
firearms from schools, there have been numerous school shootings over the years. Plan – allow
open carry on schools. Advantages/Disadvantages – Allowing open carry on schools would serve
as a deterrent to potential school shooters. People would be less likely to go on a shooting spree
if they realized everyone else might also be armed. This would result in less violence and make
schools safer. Note: There are a variety of ways to make this case. The answer should apply the
stock issues for policy.
