Rwanda is an example of a failure of nations and the UN to respond and seem powerless to stop the killing of hundreds of thousands of people. When is enough enough? What is the magic number that is so offensive that the UN will actually empower its troops to intervene in a meaningful way? The path to this genocide came about through Belgian colonialism setting one group against another.
