In your own words, define closed captioning as it relates to the court reporter

What will be an ideal response?

Closed captioning is much like realtime, except in its use and form. It is used mainly to caption programs, lectures, or other events, and have the words instantly appear translated on a video screen. In most cases, the format is a line at a time rather than a series of lines. As the lines appear translated, they disappear from the screen and are replaced by another series of translated lines.
