These disorders are characterized by socially unacceptable or otherwise disruptive and harmful behaviors that are outside of the individual’s control. Generally, more common in males than in females, and often first seen in childhood, they include oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, intermittent explosive disorder, antisocial personality disorder (which is also coded in the category of personality disorders), kleptomania, and pyromania.
