Explain why many designers like to start working on images by first checking the extremes of each adjustment.

What will be an ideal response?

A key to making adjustments is to sometimes walk the fine line between going far enough to make the adjustment the best it can be and going too far. When making adjustments, the first thing many designers do is push the adjustment to the extreme to see what the adjustment looks like when it's too much. When you work this way, seeing what you don't want can make it easier to find what you do want. It can train your eye to recognize when an image looks its best, and recognizing when an image looks bad is a big part of that training.
