What will be an ideal response?
Family — status, sense of self, values, norms, beliefs; School (or education) — concepts, norms, values, statuses; Religion — divine motivation for norms (excellent answers could also include values), God's law (which may lead us to believe other norms are from the devil); peers — social interaction, group loyalty (these may include negativity toward others); sometimes norms that contradict family and schools (drinking, smoking, vandalism, or poor grades), gender norms; mass media — gender and sexual expression, peer culture, interaction with others (media can BOTH increase multiculturalism, AND on the other hand fragmentation into people's specific demographic niches); workplace — interaction with others, appropriate behavior for the job.
