Example response: Knowledge-gaining groups come together to learn or experience new things. Personal growth
groups focus on the individual and his or her personal well being. Social groups come together to interact with
others on an informal basis and to maintain interpersonal relationships. Problem solving or task-oriented groups
come together to answer a question or provide a solution to a problem.
I am personally in two play-groups of moms and children (social). I am in a dinner club at church (social). I am in
the martial arts (knowledge-gaining and personal growth). At this time in my life, I am not in every type of group.
