Fly to Point 5 on the west side of the Panamint Range in Panamint Valley, and then to Point 6. Point 5 is near the lowest part of the Panamint Valley playa. Move the cursor around in this area to find the elevation of the lowest part of the playa. Then use the ruler to measure the distance to Point 6 at the southern edge of the playa. Determine the gradient of the playa.
