Explain why a measure of effect size is recommended to accompany the result from a hypothesis test

What will be an ideal response?

A statistically significant result from a hypothesis test simply means that the research result is greater than what would be expected just by chance (without any treatment effect). However, whenever "chance" is very small, a research result can also be very small and still be significant. Measures of effect size are intended to provide an absolute measure of how big the effect is.
