Localization adds cultural context to a previously internationalized site. This involves translating extant textual content, but may also require the creation of new content relevant only to a particular location. Both are necessary for effective site management. Internationalization identifies what may need to change, the localization carries out those changes.

It is important to convert any text into standard English because it is very easy to misinterpret idioms, let alone jargon, sports metaphors, slang and marketing language. Eliminate these from the text.
