Briefly explain the difference between fluid intelligence and crystallized intelligence

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Fluid intelligence reflects information processing capabilities, reasoning, and memory. Examples of fluid intelligence are tasks such as arranging a series of letters according to some rule or memorizing a series of numbers. Fluid intelligence declines with age. Crystallized intelligence is the information, skills, and strategies that people have accumulated through experience and that they can apply to solve problems. Examples of crystallized intelligence are someone solving a crossword puzzle or trying to identify the murderer in a mystery story. Crystallized intelligence holds steady with age and can actually improve.
