Answers will vary. When you open a Files Explorer window, you are looking at the contents of the computer, a drive, or a folder. In addition to the title bar, sizing buttons, and status bar, File Explorer windows contain the following elements:Quick Access Toolbar-contains buttons for frequently used commands.Ribbon-contains commands for working with the contents of the window organized into tabs of related activities or tasks. Each tab is organized into groups of related commands. As you open different folders and navigate with File Explorer, new tabs appear at the top of the window to the right of the existing tabs. This type of tab is called a contextual tab, and it contains options related to your current task. For example, the Picture Tools Manage tab appears when you navigate to the Pictures library and contains options for working with pictures.Help button-opens a Web page in your browser listing search results in the Bing search engine for the search phrase "get help with file explorer in windows 10."Navigation buttons-returns the display to a previously viewed window.Address bar-lists the location of the currently displayed folder.Search box-locates an item in the current location that matches the key words you typed in it.Navigation pane-contains icons and links to locations on your computer and your network organized into five categories: Quick access (for folders you access frequently and files accessed recently), OneDrive (for your OneDrive location), This PC (for the drives and devices on your computer), Network (for network locations your computer can access), and Homegroup (for your shared home network, if any).When you open a new File Explorer window, it opens with Quick access selected in the navigation pane and with the 10 most frequently accessed folders and the 20 most recently accessed files listed in the window.
