Why is Bandwidth Allocation Protocol (BAP) used with Multilink?

What will be an ideal response?

On its own, Multilink cannot change the bandwidth, or drop or add a connection as needed. This is why it is often used with Bandwidth Allocation Protocol (BAP) to ensure that a client's connection has enough speed or bandwidth for a particular application. BAP helps ensure that the amount of bandwidth increases to the maximum needed for the aggregated channels and reciprocally contracts as the need becomes less.
