Ans: Generativity refers to leaving something for future generations. Examples will vary but might include being a mentor as a means of attaining generativity. Those who are more educated and women are more likely to be more generative. Other correlates are the use of more principled reasoning and an increasing importance of other-directed behaviors at midlife.
