Explain the importance of evaluation of programs


Evaluation is the process of assessing the quality and effectiveness of a program. It is a necessity because it allows planners to recognize which program components are and are not effective so that they can adjust the current and future components (and entire programs) accordingly. Evaluation also holds planners and public health practitioners accountable to stakeholders.?
