Explain the Six-Step Model for evaluating Internet sources
What will be an ideal response?
This six-step model for evaluating Internet sources includes asking who, what, where, when, why, and how. This ‘who' concerns the identity of the author. The ‘what' question will describe its purpose. The ‘where' question will include where it is published. The ‘when' question should tell when it was written so the author can determine if the facts are current enough for the current research project. The why is for the purpose of determining if the information is creditable, based on the list of references or bibliography. The how question is asked to help determine if it will help your research and whether it is a scholarly or historic source.
