Use Skinner’s radical behaviorism to explain Tammy and Brian’s breastfeeding experiences. How does this compare with Sullivan’s explanation?

What will be an ideal response?

Radical behaviorism can explain Tammy and Brian’s breastfeeding experience through the use of rewards and punishments. Tammy’s experience was a negative one; the bruised and cracked nipples, etc. were punishing and therefore discouraged the continuation of nursing. Bottle-feeding, on the other hand, was a pleasant experience and therefore continued because of the reinforcement.
