Are the weep holes in brick veneer walls provided by drilling holes in bricks or by some other means? Explain and also give the center to center spacing of weep holes.
What will be an ideal response?
The weep holes are generally provided through plastic tubes left in vertical mortar (head) joints, 16 in. on center, during brick laying. Other devices are also available that can replace the tubes. If open head joints are used as weep holes, their spacing is 24 in. on center.
