How is data hidden inside a WAV?
What will be an ideal response?
Data is hidden inside a WAV file with a simple technique. Every sixteen samples, the LSB (least significant bit) of the sample is set to a 0 or 1 value according to the data being inserted into the file. Thus, to insert a byte of information into the WAV file, we adjust the LSB of just eight samples out of a 128-byte block of samples. Spreading out the changes reduces the chances that the audio will be noticeably affected. In addition, changing just the LSB of a sample means the smallest possible effect will be made to the sample.
