Define synergism in hormone interaction at target cells and give an example

What will be an ideal response

Synergism occurs when more than one hormone produces the same effects at the target cell and their combined effects are amplified. For example, the liver will release glucose in the presence of glucagon or epinephrine. If both hormones are present, the amount of glucose released is increased 150%.
