Discuss the costs and benefits of informal care for society and for informal caregivers
What will be an ideal response?
For society informal caregiving reduces the financial burden on society while for the individual it may lead to physical (poor health outcomes), financial (direct and indirect costs), and emotional costs (anxiety, worry, feeling alone), but can also result in finding personal meaning in the role and in life, which can enhance caregiver well-being.
