- To add a picture to a report, click the Insert Image button in the Controls group on the Design tab, and then click Browse. In the Insert Picture dialog box, browse to and select the file that contains the picture you want to insert in the report. After selecting the file, click OK. The pointer changes shape when you move it over the report. Click the plus sign in the pointer in the upper-left corner where you want to insert the picture. An image control is added to the report.
