How is low-impact development different from conservation design?

What will be an ideal response?

Low impact development focuses specifically on water conservation and stormwater runoff and management. Conservation design is more holistic, and is a development strategy that is used to protect and preserve the environmental and ecological integrity of large tracts of land. Conservation design incorporates LID as well as cluster development and other principles of environmentally sensitive design.
