Explain why people from different generations assign different meanings to relational technologies, as well as use them in a different way.

What will be an ideal response?

People from different generations not only are born in different chronological eras
but have had access to different kinds of technology. People born into an era of “print”
technology tend to value the printed over the online or broadcast message; people born
into the Internet generation might be more inclined to seek out information online than
from a radio or television broadcast. This is because societies within each generation
develop different standards and methods for evaluating knowledge, experience, and
reality—which in turn affect their use or disuse of certain technologies.
