What will be an ideal response?

An inventor's log book or journal helps you prove that you were first. An inventor's log is officially a bound notebook on which each day's activities are recorded, with the date and any drawings that show the evolution of the problem solution. Often major benchmarks are signed and witnessed in order to prove that the claims for the invention and the dates are authentic.
