What will be an ideal response?
Feminists provide distinctions between the terms sex and gender. In general, the term sex refers to a biological variable that is used to distinguish between two categories of individuals: females or males. Besides certain physical and reproductive capabilities, few human characteristics can be explained by sex alone (Worell & Papendrick-Remer, 2001). In contrast, the term gender usually refers to culturally and socially constructed beliefs and attitudes about the traits and behaviors of females and males (Worell & Papendrick-Remer, 2001).
