What is an MFTI and what does one do?

What will be an ideal response?

An MFTI is a Marriage Family Therapist Intern. MFTIs provide families with the tools needed to maintain positive
relationships and to cope with the stressors inherent in divorce. The goal is to make it safe for children to express
feelings about the divorce. An MFTI also provides education for parents on how divorce impacts children. Also, an
MFTI provides communication-skills training to parents so they are better able to support the child.
