What is the difference between impromptu presentations and extemporaneous presentations? Which is considered most effective? Why?

What will be an ideal response?

An impromptu presentation is considered a presentation with little or no preparation time while the extemporaneous presentation is a speech where the speaker has practiced very carefully but has also prepared notes and an outline. The extemporaneous presentation is considered the most effective in terms of delivery and content. The speaker can refer to notes and can change the speech to adapt to audience feedback. Although the impromptu presentation does not allow for notes, you can develop a strategy to help you quickly formulate an impromptu speech.
