What are the different values that individualist and collectivist cultures possess? How do these values impact group behavior and communication?

What will be an ideal response?

The ideal answer should include:
- Individualist cultures value power, achievement, hedonism, and stimulation. In these cultures, an individual's goals are given precedence over the group's goals.
- Collectivist cultures value benevolence, tradition, and conformity. In these cultures, the group's goals are given precedence over individuals' goals.
- Behavioral differences in terms of individualism versus collectivism can be seen in how errors and achievements are addressed. In individualist cultures, a group member who makes an error or achievement is likely to be publicly reprimanded or congratulated. In collectivist cultures, the group is unlikely to single out a particular member for an error or an achievement. The blame or credit is shared equally amongst members.
