What are the effects of prostaglandin and histamine during inflammation?

What will be an ideal response?

The blood vessels' smooth muscle relaxes, which results in their dilation. The blood flow to the area increases. More RBCs come to the area and bring more oxygen to the inflamed tissue. Increased blood flow brings more nutrients to the area and removes toxins and waste products out of the area. Permeability of capillaries also increases, which causes local swelling of the tissue. Phagocytes in the tissue are activated and engulf debris and pathogens.
