Healthy organizations also support well-being in the following ways: (1) Rather than always complaining and blaming group members, they express sincere gratitude for the effort of others. (2) The culture in caring organizations includes a capacity to forgive because they understand that everyone makes mistakes. (3) Encouragement is used to inspire workers and give them hope, confidence, and courage. (4) These organizations show sensitivity to others through the expression of interest in their workers and how they are doing. It also includes a respect for privacy. (5) These organizations understand that compassion for others is a good antidote for destructive competitiveness and petty game playing.
