In a paragraph, define “cyberbullying” and provide at least one example of this activity
Today, young people can use technology to harass, humiliate, threaten, and embarrass each other. These acts are called cyberbullying. Cyberbullying can include threats, sexual remarks, or pejorative comments transmitted on the Internet or posted on Web sites (social networking sites are often used for such postings). The perpetrator might also pose as the victim and post statements or media, such as photos or videos (often edited to cast the victim in an unfavorable light), that are intended to damage the victim’s reputation. Because the Internet increases both the intensity and reach of these attacks, they are much more likely to draw the attention of law enforcement officials than bullying activities in the physical world.
