Research other articles on Hormesis and homeopathy that both defend and refute the claims and discuss how you use critical thinking to form your opinion about these topics. Do anecdotal claims, that is, patients who report positive or negative results affect your decision? Do you rely more on scientific evidence or do both play a part?
What will be an ideal response?
Answer: Homeopathy is an empirical therapeutic method from small doses. Hormesis on the other hand is dose response to agent of treatment. Homeopathy advocates for small dosage claiming that large doses caused symptoms to an individual same to one who is suffering from the infection. Hormesis claims that the response to low dose has an opposite effect to that of high doses, with the notion that small noxious agent doses would bring about beneficial results. With the claims from the customers and the scientific research, this two curing methods are seen to contradict or contrast each other. The scientific research shows that the two curing methods has similar results and the customers having different opinion showing that the two contrast. These brings out a necessity for research in order to harmonize the results with the homeopaths being expected to verified using the experimental and the medicine based on evidence from the customers.
