For example, defining the researcher’s role in relation to research participants, qualitative researcher as someone working in collaboration with a community, quantitative researcher as an outside expert who designed research and who collects data using objective procedures, best done without participant involvement, how to find the appropriate relationship between these roles? Might use different researchers for qualitative and quantitative components.
