Professionalism encompasses what is right/fair as defined in the Code of Ethics. It also encompasses what is good quality as defined in the Standards of Practice. In addition to quality and conduct a common definition of professionalism includes dress and attitude. Different settings have different expectations for how a person should look and act but they all have a concern for how the individual is representing the employer and/or the profession.
