Some couples the experience of intimacy has to do with sharing moments and feelings of emotional closeness. For some couples, intimacy is linked with sex or physical closeness. For others, intimacy is a spiritual or religious experience. Multifaceted and multidimensional in its scope, the components that comprise intimacy vary from culture to culture, ethnicity to ethnicity, and person to person.
