(2) Develop students' expertise with deliberate practice and worked examples, such as David Chin's efforts on pages 330 and 331 of the chapter. (3) Capitalize on social interaction to engage students and monitor their learning progress, such as having students work in groups and conducting whole-class discussions of their problem solving efforts.
